This throwout bearing is a direct drop in using a b230 cable clutch fork and a t5 transmission. The bearing itself is small in diameter than the ford t5 bearing which means you get lower pedal pressure for the same clamp load. The adpater spaces the bearing properly when doing the conversion and requires no modifications to the fork or linkage.
This bearing is NOT useable with the DeeWorks adapter plate which uses the stock volvo throwout bearing. This bearing is used for anyone using any number of other adapters that do not replae the t5 input snout.
