For this service we take your 90+ we refurb your exhaust manifold. You send us a useable core and we send you back a finished manifold. Sometimes we have cores, call to inquire.
We inspect the maifolds on their arrival. Most will have cracks in the collecotor. The cracks are ground out, edges drilled out, it is heated to 500degrees in an oven, tig welded with Ni 99 rod, and then left to cool slowly in the over overnight. This is not a quick and dirty mig weld process, we take care to fix the cast iron properly and get a lot more useful years out of these maifolds.
