Applications that have a block mounted distributor or eliminated distributor have a rubber plug to seal the hole in the back of the head. This plug is simply glued in and can pop out. When the plug pops out you now have a massive oil leak. These retainer plates fit both b230 (8v) and b234 (16v) heads. They are made from aluminum and have an anodized finish. Kit includes hardware to install.
