240 lower chassis braces

These lower braces alone vastly improved the handling of my 240. High speed curves are a pleasure with the addition of these braces. The front end is much more planted and stable. I recommend them to all friends that have 240s. Best bang for your buck period. Yoshifab includes all hardware, just make sure to use loctite and these will serve you well for years and years. When i ordered these, I figured that they would be a nice little improvement to my 240's handling. After a test drive, I felt like a chump for not getting these sooner. If you are trying to decide between upper or lower braces, get these first. Both are obviously ideal, but these really take the cake in awesomeness. I put these on my '88 240 in about an hour. They mount to existing holes in the subframe and this makes them a lot easier to install than other braces, and probably stronger too. Rear mount goes directly to frame rails...not to the rear A-arm mounts. The front end of the car feels much tighter now. They look good too!Robert Fort (19 Oct 2009, 10:06)
